Cameroonian singer Blick Bassy started shooting his first film as a director a few days ago. In the cast we will find the famous Cameroonian Tik-Tok influencer Diana Bouli.
It is a new challenge that the singer Blick Bassy gives himself, that of making a film. He thus adds to his cap of singer and musician, that of filmmaker. Something not entirely surprising because the singer is a true multidisciplinary artist. In 2016, he was discovered as a writer thanks to his first novel Moabi Cinéma published by Editions Gallimard. Roman who received the same year the Grand Prix d’Afrique Noir from ADELF(French-speaking Writers’s Association). A book in which the author’s fascination with cinema can already be read.
The announcement of this first film project as a director was made by the artist himself on social networks. An announcement that also allowed to unveil the one who will be the main character of the film: the famous cameroonian Tik-Tok influencer Diana Bouli.
If the announcement of the project did not let any information filter out about the plot of this film, a few well-introduced sources let it be known that it will be a short film whose theme will revolve around education and of the family.
