The 3rd edition of the international short film festival, Dakar Court, will be held from December 07 to 12, 2020 in the Senegalese capital with many activities on the program. The jury for this edition will be chaired by the director Souleymane Cissé.
For this third edition of the Dakar Court festival, 12 short films from several countries around the world are in competition. These films will be shown during the 6 days of the festival. Due to the Covid19 pandemic, some dissemination will be done online. Besides the screening of these films, several other activities will take place during the festival, in particular the Talent Dakar Court workshop. This is a free training for 30 young Africans whose objective is to teach them different jobs in cinema. The training is led by producer Moussa Sène Absa and actor and screenwriter Diomaye Augustin Ngom. An end-of-training short film will be shot. The first lessons of the training in question began on November 30.
