Cameroonian comedian and actor Moustik Karismatik will be part of the cast of Claye Edou’s next animated film. The announcement was made on social networks by the film’s director.
Almost everyone has heard of Minga et la cuillère cassée, Cameroon’s first 2D animated feature film. Released in 2017 and directed by Claye Edou, the film was a real popular success and went on to be selected for multiple film festivals around the world. The director returns with a new animated film, Le Mystère de Waza. Since 2019, the production team has been gradually unveiling the contours of this new project.
In a recent post on the film’s official page, as well as on the film’s director’s page, we learned that actor Moustik Karismatik will be part of the cast of The Mystery of Waza.
This announcement will certainly delight all Moustik’s fans, but also all the film lovers who have been waiting for the release of this new film for two years now. Moustik Karismatik, whose real name is Hubert Martial Tagne, will play the role of Kilichi, a very special guide and gamekeeper who will enable the heroes of the film to cross the Waza park. He joins several other local film stars who had already been selected to voice various roles in the film. They include Daniel Ndo, Axel Abessolo, Hervé Nguetchouang, Jeanne Mbenti…
No information is yet available on the release of the film, but everything leads us to believe that the film will not disappoint us and we are already very eager to discover it.
