ShareTweetShareShare

The French school GOBELINS and the American giant Netflix are offering 6 scholarships for African animators. An initiative which aims to detect new talents in the field of animation cinema in Africa.

This is great news for all animation enthusiasts on the continent. GOBELINS, the French image school which trains in fields such as photography, graphics and animation cinema, has joined forces with the global streaming giant Netflix to offer 6 training grants to the place of African students.

The 6 scholarships offered are divided into two axes : 3 scholarships for the Bachelor level in Animator and Director of Animated Films and 3 scholarships for the Master level in Designer and Director of Animated Films. The 6 selected students will benefit from a scholarship covering the tuition fees of the chosen study cycle (3 years for the License and 2 years for the Master).

The selection results for the scholarships will be announced in June 2021 for an academic start in September 2021.
