After a week of screenings and activities, the 24th edition of the Ecrans Noirs festival ended on November 07, 2020 at the Palais des Congrès in Yaoundé with a very popular closing ceremony.
The jury, which was made up of several personalities from the arts and cinema, awarded the following prizes:

Gold Screen of the best features film : “Heart of Africa” by Tshoper Kabambi – RDCongo
Jury Price : “Saving Mbango” by Nkanya Nkwai – Cameroon
Screen of the best screenoplay : “The Fisherman’s Diary” by Enah Johnscott – Cameroon.
Screen of the best actor : Myindo Mpongo in the movie “Heart of Africa”.
Screen of the best actress : Ama K. Abebrese in the movie “Azali” du Ghana.
Special price of the jury : “Hala Madrid” by Abdelilah El Jaouhary – Algéria
Spécial Mention for Aisha Kyomuhangidu for her role in the movie “Kemi” – Ouganda
Spécial Mention for Faith Fidel for her role in the movie “The Fisherman’s Diary” – Cameroon
