The Imagine Institute in Ouagadougou organises training courses in film-making, shooting techniques and editing from 7 to 19 December 2020. A two-week training course aimed at young people and professionals.
Since its creation in 2003, the Imagine Institute, founded by the Burkinabe filmmaker Gaston Kaboré, has set itself the mission of providing professional training in various film professions to young people in Burkina Faso and the West African sub-region. An initiative that has been going on since then and which takes the form of ongoing training courses and workshops throughout the year.
For the end of the year 2020, the institute organises a 2-week training session from 07 to 19 December 2020 in its premises at Wayalguin in sector 27 in Ouagadougou. A training course intended for young people who wish to learn the trade but also for professionals who want to improve their skills. The cost of this training amounts to 150 000 CFAF (228 Euro).
The training courses offered are as follows:
- Audiovisual Editing training workshop Aimed at beginners who are in need of consolidating their knowledge in the art and techniques of audiovisual editing.
Workshop led by the chief editors: Marie-Jeanne Aouba and Gaétan Some.
- Training workshop in Cinema shooting
Aimed at young people and professionals who want to deepen their practical knowledge in film and audiovisual shooting.
Workshop led by Paul Djibila, Director of Photo Burkinabe.
- Training workshop in Film-making This workshop is aimed at young people and professionals who wish to deepen their practical knowledge in film-making.
This workshop is led by filmmaker Gaston Kaboré.
