The Ciné Club N’kah, a film screening event organized by the Tell And Be Africa association, returns for a 7th season with 3 films, which will be screened on September 24 & 25, 2021 at the Sita Bella Hall in Yaoundé.
For the 7th time, the Ciné Club N’kah is back for the great pleasure of Yaoundé moviegoers. A regular meeting during where a selection of Cameroonian films is presented over two days, the Ciné Club N’kah is gradually establishing itself as an important moment in the cinematographic landscape of Yaoundé. Organized by the Tell And Be Africa association, Three films are shown at each session: one feature film on Friday evening and two short films on Saturday morning.
The 7th season of Ciné Club N’kah will take place on September 24th and 25th, 2021. On the program, Friday September 24th at 5.30pm, the documentary Le Dos de la Veuve directed by Mary-Noel Niba, also promoter of the event. Le Dos de la Veuve tells the story of Pauline 40 years old, young widow, mother of six children who has to leave her house because sexually harassed by the little brother of the deceased, in the name of the levirate which makes him a “successor” to heat the widow’s back.
On Saturday September 25, during the screening devoted to the little ones, two short films are on the program: G&M by Rostand Wandja and Maman(s) by Maimouna Doucouré. Two films which feature young children who try, by means not always conventional, to create a reality and an atmosphere favorable to their development
