A back-to-school scent for the production team of the hit series Madame … Monsieur. The first clap of the shooting of season 3 was given on Monday January 03 in Douala.
Sophie, Mbarga, Patrick, Piwole, Anna and all the characters from the Cameroonian series Madame…Monsieur are back for season 3. The shooting of this final season, directed by Ebénezer Képombia, started on January 3 in Douala. Great news for the many Cameroonian and African fans of this series which for 2 years has never ceased to be talked about. We will once again find in the cast of this series produced by the company Chambeny Entertainment: Emy Dany Bassong, Eshu Tamwa, Murielle Blanche, Patrick Oyono, Mimie, Daniel Nsang, Noelle Kenmoe, Hortavie Mpondo and many others who have participated in building since season 1, the fame of this series. And as it was the case, during the previous season, Ebenezer Kepombia and his team included in the cast nearly 30 new actors. These newcomers will undoubtedly benefit from the popularity of the series to give a boost to their respective careers.
Among these new actors who are making their debut in the series, we can cite among others Danilo Melande, best actor at the Brussels International Film Festival for his role in Bendskins (2020); Deneuve Djobang (Confidences – 2006, Harraga: Brûleurs de frontières – 2013), Franclin Podehala (Science dans la Cité – 2020, Miel Amer – 2019), Reine Mpouadina (Oser ou S’exposer – 2008) which we will find very soon in L’Accord by Frank Thierry Lea Malle. Note the return of the actress Nguemgaing Rosine who had already made an appearance in the first season of the series.
While many of these newcomers already have careers in progress, many will begin their film careers through this series. This is the case, for example, of the model Ivana Ononino (muse of Maybeline New-York), Miliano Baracheil Youmbo, Bolivan Mountounijou, etc.
2021 was a year of consecration for the Madame … Monsieur series, with numerous prizes gleaned in Cameroon (Canal d’Or, Balafon 7 Awards) and in Africa, as well as for its actors who have continued to win awards in particular Emy Dany Bassong and Eshu Tamwa who respectively won the awards for best female performance and best male performance at the 6th edition of the Sotigui Awards.
Rendez-vous is therefore price for the third quarter of 2022 for the start of the broadcast of the series on channel A + .
