Agence Film Réunion, Région Réunion and the DAC Réunion, in partnership with the French Institute, are organising the sixth fiction feature film writing residency in November 2021. It will bring together 10 authors and 2 professional contributors who will work on the writing of a script for a first or second fiction feature film.
The Feature Fiction Writing Residency is a programme of support for the writing of feature fiction films that is open to authors from all over the world. For the construction of true cinema depends on storytelling and writing. The participants of this sixth residency will therefore meet in La Réunion and work together for two weeks, during which they will alternate between individual work sessions between author and trainer, and plenary sessions during which the whole group will discuss each of the projects. The screenwriters of the world will then have the opportunity to confront their projects, points of view, share their passion for cinema, their working methods and their thoughts. They will be able to learn and be inspired by others to give a new colour, a new breath and above all a new style to their writing.
