“When The Levees Broke” is the title of the new film by Cameroonian director Musing Derick currently filming in Douala with Stephanie Tum in the cast.
The news of the filming of When The Leeves Broke by Musing Derick spread like wildfire on social networks this Monday, January 17 in Cameroon. Not only thanks to the exclusive photos of the filming of this film which is currently taking place in Douala, but above all by the storytelling behind the announcement.
For his fifth feature film, the director and producer chooses to make a film with a single character. And it is Stephanie Tum who is responsible for playing this character, the lawyer Fidel Ngwe. No information is currently available on the plot of the film, but the part taken to tell a story with a single character quickly became one of the axes of the propaganda of this film. And to top it off, as part of the filming that is currently underway, the production team managed to cross the bridge over the Wouri River for 2 hours to shoot a scene. It was enough for many rave publications to be posted to describe this “feat”.
