Disney recently announced a collaboration project with pan-African entertainment company Kugali. They will together produce an animated sci-fi series that will premiere on the Disney + streaming service.
Animation cinema in Africa has been booming in recent years. A progression which does not leave indifferent the big cinema production companies in the world. Dans la même lancée La société Kugali a signé un partenariat en décembre dernier avec Disney pour la production de la série Iwaju.
According to the information available this series will be broadcast on the Disney + streaming platform in 2022. The company is made up of a team from various African countries: Uganda, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, South Sudan, Kenya, Morocco.
